Percy’s Place Caravan Park Park Rules

OFFICE HOURS
Office is not open. All contactless.

SITE FEES
Site fees need to be paid PRIOR to your arrival via bank transfer or payment over the phone is available if required. (Invoice will be sent approx. 5 days prior to your arrival date).  Boom gate code and site number will be issued approx. 24 hours prior to your arrival date.

CHECK IN TIME
After 1pm. Earlier check in times may be available upon request.

CHECK OUT TIME
By 10.00am. Late checkouts can be requested. Fees apply. Must be requested at time of booking.

FEES/REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
Fees must be paid in advance at all times.  We do not issue refunds for early departures or in the case of inclement weather. Refer to our cancellation policy.

VISITORS
If your intention is to have visitors, please notify the office prior to their arrival. ALL visitors will need to park out the front in the visitor parking.  If your visitors need to bring their vehicle through the boom gate they will need their own code, your boom gate code will not work for them.  You are responsible for your guest behaviour and that they adhere to the park rules at all times.  Fees may apply for guests visiting the park. Fees apply for all LWE $15 per adult, $10 per child.

BOOM GATE
Boom gate codes are unique to each vehicle and site; 1 CODE PER CAR codes cannot be transferred to any other person. DO NOT issue this code to anyone else as this will restrict your entry/exit rights. Tailgating through the boom gate will result in your code being cancelled.

QUIET TIME
For the comfort of all guests, noise must always be kept to a minimum. We have a strict NO NOISE policy after 10.00pm.  Offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave the park. Please be respectful of fellow guests and our neighbours.

ROAD RULES
Speed limit is strictly 10km. WALKING PACE, NO DUST. Rough surfaces.
ALL NSW ROAD RULES APPLY WITHIN THE PARK. All drivers must be licenced, ALL vehicles, caravans & motor homes must be registered, unregistered vehicles are not permitted at the park. Riding in the back of utes, boats and trailers being towed is prohibited. No motorised scooters, buggys, carts etc are permitted within the park. NO vehicles are to be driven down on to river. NO driving on grass or riverbanks or embankment leading down to river. Drive on the roads provided NOT on the grass.

BIKES/SCOOTERS
Riding is only allowed in daylight hours. Not before 8am.
Riding is not permitted on the roads near the amenities, boom gates, car park and office.
Helmets meeting Australian Standard (AS/NZ 2063:2008) and appropriate safety gear must always be worn. All children must be supervised at all times.

CHILDREN
The supervision of your children is important for their safety and to ensure they do not disturb other guests within the park. Parents are responsible for their children's behaviour at all times. All children must be supervised AT ALL TIMES and whilst using the amenities.

CAMP KITCHEN
Open 7.00am-10.00pm. Is equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and BBQ. Cooking activities are only permitted in designated area in the camp kitchen.

DUMP POINT
Located opposite the amenities block.

POWERED SITES
Motor homes, caravans, campervan must be contained within your site. All leads must be 15 AMP. Ground sheets made of cloth or open weave material (no tarps, fake grass). Draw bars/tow ball must be facing the road for easy removal and towing in case of an emergency. Your vehicle must always be parked at the front of your site. Powered sites have their own water tap. Powered sites are not located on the river.

RIVERFRONT SITES ARE ALL PRIVATELY 
ALL SITES ON THE RIVER ARE LEASED ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.  Powered site guests do not have access to this section of the park or boat ramp without prior approval. 

HOUSE RULES
Respect all flora and fauna.
We do NOT have free Wi-Fi.  We do have good mobile reception.
NO Bucks/Hens Party’s.
NO Slip n Slides, jumping castles are to be set up in any section of the park.
NO Fireworks.

CAMPFIRES
Only permitted 1st April - 30th September and NOT ALL POWERED SITES ARE SUITABLE FOR CAMPFIRES, sites 1-12 do not permit campfires please request if you would like to have a campfire prior to your arrival.  Fires are permitted (subject to RFS conditions), campfires are also subject to the discretion of Management.  Fires must always be kept small and under watch. Fire drums must not be placed within 5 metres of a caravan or tent. Only packaged firewood is permitted (NO PALLETS, FENCE PAILINGS OR WOOD WITH NAILS etc).  Failure to adhere to these fire rules may result in Management removing your fire privileges. Packaged firewood is available from the office $25 per small bucket or pre order and pay for a bobcat bucket for $100 and it will be delivered to your site, must be pre ordered and paid for.  

GENERATORS
NOT PERMITTED on powered sites.

WASHING MACHINE & DRYERS 
Not permitted under or next to caravans, please use laundy facilitys. 2 x $2

CATTLE
DO NOT ENTER THEIR PADDOCKS. DO NOT feed the COWS. Do not throw anything into their paddock or torment them. Children MUST be supervised at all times whilst at the park.
PERCY’S PLACE WILL NOT BE RESONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INCIDENTS CAUSED BY CATTLE. ENTRY TO THE PARK IS DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

PETS
We are pet friendly if your pet is friendly, Pets must always stay on a lead. Pet droppings are to be picked up immediately. Pets are not permitted to be left on site if you are not here, either in the van or outside the van. Pets are not permitted in the camp kitchen or amenities at any time. Not all guests like pets. If you cannot adhere to these rules, then please don’t bring your pet.  Owners of pets will be responsible for any damages cause by their pet. PERCY’S PLACE WILL NOT BE RESONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INCIDENTS CAUSED BY ANY ANIMALS whilst at the park.

Wood available.
Book exchange located in the camp kitchen.
Washing machines & dryers take 2 x $2
Herb/vegetable garden pick your own.
Courtesy buses available to local pubs & clubs. 

DRINKING WATER
Taps are located throughout the park all taps within the park are drinking water.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
For security, common areas of our park are under 24-hour video surveillance.

SECURITY/DAMAGES
All guests are responsible for securing their valuables at all times. Percy's Place takes no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred to your belongings during your stay. Please respect the park's property, including the amenities, gardens and facilities. Any damages will be at the cost of the person/s responsible and will be charged at managements discretion.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
We will endeavour to meet any special requests, but this cannot always be guaranteed.

RISK WARNING
ENTRY TO PERCY’S PLACE IS DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Park management wishes to warn all persons who engage in any activity for recreation, enjoyment, leisure or relaxation that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or serious personal injury or even death. All persons who engage in such activities do so at their own risk.

FLOOD WARNING
Percy’s Place is subject to flooding.  In the event of a flood, you will be asked to evacuate the caravan park.  You must follow any instructions given by the park management at the time of any such flood event.  You will need to take your caravan/motorhome and all belongings.

Non-payment of site fees will result in eviction.  Illegal drug use, excessive use of alcohol or acts of violence/abuse, to other guests or park management will not be tolerated. Park management reserves the right to evict any person from the park who breaches any of the park rules or the conditions of occupancy.
